Timbersports The oldest extreme sport in the world. That’s how the timber sport presents itself. Australia and New Zealand began lumbering competitions in rural areas in the late 1800s. The sport spread to North America. Sled dog racing Mushers live a dedicated life style. It’s all about their love for the dogs. That’s why they race. The dogs run, the mushers control the route with their voice. Races are in different categories (number of dogs) over different distances. And there are races with several types of dogs and breeds. For example with huskies in the snow. Also: there are several events on dry land.
